Heritage Leaves Meets Fred’s — A Collaboration & An Invitation

Hello, tea lovers and friends — I’m John, founder of Heritage Leaves, and I’ve got something special brewing this October.

Over the past months, I’ve been honored to partner with Fred’s, a thoughtfully curated kitchen and home goods shop in Boston’s South End, for a weekend pop-up that brings together two worlds I love — craftsmanship and connection — through a shared love of flavor, form, and heritage.

About Fred’s (and Why This Collaboration Matters)

When I first stepped into Fred’s, located at 558 Tremont Street, I immediately felt the warmth and care in every detail — the artful tableware, elegant kitchen tools, and beautifully designed home pieces. Every item feels chosen, not stocked.

Fred’s founder, Joe, named the shop after his father, Fred, who was a chef and restaurant owner. That story moved me deeply — it reminded me of my own family’s connection to tradition and craft. Joe’s vision brings together the soulful essence of his father’s culinary legacy and his own inspiration from Paris’s legendary kitchen shops like E. Dehillerin, creating a space where timeless quality meets modern design.

Fred’s isn’t just a store — it’s a celebration of thoughtful living, where each object has a story. That’s exactly what I aim to share through my teas — each leaf hand-picked by my family in the misty mountains of Nantou, Taiwan, carrying the scent of earth, rain, and generations of care.

🍂 Pop-Up & Tea Experience — October 18 & 19

Join me for two cozy afternoons at Fred’s:

📅 Dates: October 18 & 19
⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 Location: Fred’s, 558 Tremont St, Boston, MA

Whether you’re starting your morning stroll or taking a break from exploring the South End, stop by to sip, chat, and discover what makes loose-leaf tea so special.

🌿 Why This Collaboration Means So Much

As someone who divides my time between Boston and Taiwan, I’ve always believed tea can bridge worlds — it connects people, traditions, and stories. Partnering with Fred’s feels natural because Joe and I share that same devotion to craft and authenticity.

If you’re in Boston that weekend, I’d love for you to stop by Fred’s, meet Joe, explore his beautiful store, and enjoy a cup of tea straight from the Taiwanese mountains — my family’s tea, served in a space built on family legacy.

Each leaf tells a story — and I can’t wait to share ours with you.Warmly,
John Lin
