For the Black Oolong-Infused Whiskey

• 8 oz (240 ml) bourbon or rye whiskey

For the Cocktail

• 2 oz Black Oolong-infused whiskey
• 1 oz simple syrup
• 2 dashes orange bitters
• Ice
• Orange peel, for garnish

How to Infuse the Whiskey

1. Place one Heritage Leaves Premium Black Oolong Tea Bag into 8 oz of whiskey.
2. Let it steep for 1–2 hours, tasting every 30 minutes.
3. Remove the tea bag once the whiskey has developed a smooth tea aroma.
4. Store the infused whiskey in a sealed bottle for future cocktails.

Tip: Avoid steeping too long, as excessive extraction may introduce additional tannins.

Instructions

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.
